RULES

Rule 1: THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT! Ignorance is no excuse for rule-breaking. If you break the rules and haven't read them, we wll show NO MERCY. Read the rules. Really.

Rule 2: Above all else, you must obey the GMs. Questions or issues may be brought up privately on the forum. NOTE: If you wish to report a case of what you believe to be bad GMing, you must SAVE LOGS (press F3 to start logging) and report it on the forum. Without logs your case will be ignored.

Rule 3: Your name, and the names of any Pokemon you name if you are a trainer must follow these naming conventions.

Rule 4: To report an offender, or to recieve assistance with a bug that causes your gameplay to be disrupted significantly, use the GM pager command located in your "Commands" tab. Do NOT spam OOC for help unless you wish to be muted.

Rule 5: Pokemon RP Reborn does not enforce RP (because we simply do not have enough moderators to do such). That said, you are welcome to RP and disrupting the RP of others (eg by saying/emoting stupid things while people try to RP) will be punished.

Rule 6: You may not attempt to trick other players into giving you important items/money or wasting their items/money. Players found doing this will be banned.

Rule 7: Do not block paths or doors. (This refers to grouping up around enclosed areas which cause others to be slowed down or have to go a different way.) Again, offenders will be noob balled or banned.

Rule 8: Do not abuse the OOC channel. This includes attempting to spam it with pointless posts (eg random youtube links that have nothing to do with anything), TALKING IN ALL CAPS (like that), and repeatedly talking about in-character stuff such as "I want a trainer!" or "Can I borrow some money off someone?" or anything which annoys the other literate players.

Rule 9: Pokemon is by default a kids' game. This means that offensive material is prohibited. Very occasionally we may relax our policy on swearing late at night when children are supposed to be in bed, but either Sirus or Nova will let you know, and if they don't then you can't swear.

Rule 10: Do not ask/beg/accost/etc the GMs for any kind of special privileges or items. This includes the GM position. Asking for GM is a good way to ensure you will NEVER get GM. Asking HOW to get GM is another good way. If we want you on the team, WE will contact YOU.

Rule 11: Suggestions, bugs, commentary on the game (except short praise such as "I like this game") and all other forms of feedback go on the FORUMS. While we appreciate your interest in helping better the game, it is often both annoying and exasperating to hear about the same bugs/suggestions or criticisms over and over. That, and it spams up the OOC channel. Check the forum first, someone may already have said it.

Rule 12: Got a question about how to play the game? Before you bother a GM about it (especially over OOC), click that handy HELP button you see to the right of the screen and use the search feature. You may find that there is a complete tutorial on this aspect of the game already!

Rule 13: Respect your fellow players. They have a right to enjoy the game as much as you do, so don't insult, annoy, torture, assault or badger them just because you are bored or something. Be nice and others shall be nice to you.

Rule 14: On that note, if you are a trainer you have a responsibility to name your pokemon reasonable, non-offensive, non-insulting names, ESPECIALLY if they are human-controlled.

Rule 15: If you discover a bug you must report it immediately and not attempt to abuse it. Also, you should report anyone you discover bug abusing and if possible save a log file of it.

Rule 16: The game is written, coded and played in English, and English alone. If you cannot read English, you will likely get banned for breaking the rules since you cannot understand them. And only use English over OOC.

Rule 17: The rules apply to the GMs as well. With the exception of Sirus, the GMs are not above the law and are required to behave appropriately 99.999% of the time.
